Welcome! I’m Aderet Dana Hoch.

(But you can call me Aderet)

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (MS, RD, CDN), a plant-forward food lover, and a firm believer that the best day is spent at the farmer’s market (usually with an oat milk iced latte in hand).

My journey with nutrition didn’t start in a classroom; it started in a doctor’s office when I was a teenager. Being told I needed to “manage my weight” sparked a lifelong curiosity: 

What does it actually mean to nourish the body? 

That question led me on a 15-year path through the highest levels of the food and health industry; from leading teams at Chobani and New York Cares to earning my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Food Studies, & Public Health from New York University and Master of Science in Nutrition Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Why Women’s Health?

I grew up as the middle child in a large, female-dominated family. I’ve seen the beauty, the complexity, and the nutritional challenges of every stage of womanhood firsthand. 

For me, helping women nourish themselves and their growing families isn’t just a career – it’s a calling. 

After years of contributing to publications like Women’s Health, Food & Wine, and Everyday Health, I realized that women don’t need more “diet noise.” They need evidence-based, natural strategies that actually fit into their busy lives.

My Approach: Evidence-Based & Nature-Inspired

In 2021, I founded Dining with Nature, my virtual private practice. Here, I combine my clinical background – including my dual licensure in both New York and Israel – with a philosophy rooted in simplicity.

I specialize in:

  • Fertility, Metabolic, and Endocrine: Preparing your body for the most important journey of its life.
  • Pregnancy & Postpartum: Building a wholesome foundation for the next generation.
  • Food Relationship: Moving away from restriction and toward a positive, sustainable connection with food.

Whether I’m educating and advocacy-building on my YouTube channel or working one-on-one with a client, my goal is the same: to provide the clarity you need to cultivate a wholesome relationship with food as a foundation for life.
